Itinerary

Day 1 : Private Safari

Your personal guide and driver will pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel or residence between 06:00-06:30 in a closed safari vehicle for the journey to Pilanesberg Nature Reserve.

Upon arrival, embark on an exciting morning game drive (2.5-3 hours) in a closed 4×4. Your expert guide—deeply knowledgeable about the park and its wildlife—will provide fascinating insights about every animal encounter. While they’ll prioritize tracking the Big 5, don’t overlook the reserve’s smaller species and birds.

At midday, when animal activity slows, enjoy lunch at a rest camp inside the park. Later, set out on your afternoon game drive (2-2.5 hours) to explore more of Pilanesberg’s diverse ecosystems.

Your safari concludes between 15:30-16:00, with return transport to Johannesburg ensuring arrival before sunset.
