Itinerary
Day 1 : Greater Pilanesberg :
Guests are collected early from Johannesburg and travel by road to Black Rhino Private Game Reserve in the Greater Pilanesberg area. Along the way, they spend a few hours exploring the reserve before arriving at Black Rhino Game Lodge around midday. After settling in, guests can enjoy afternoon tea with light refreshments and some leisure time before heading out on a late-afternoon game drive through Pilanesberg Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle with an experienced guide. As evening falls, they return to the lodge just as the sun sets. Dinner is served under the stars by the firepit on pleasant evenings. The package includes overnight accommodation at Black Rhino Game Lodge, along with afternoon tea and dinner.
Day 2 :Pilanesberg Farewell
The day begins before dawn with warm drinks before setting out on a 3-hour morning game drive through Pilanesberg Game Reserve as the sun rises. After returning to the lodge, guests enjoy a full breakfast before packing their belongings. Between 10:30-11:00am, they’ll be collected for a final game viewing experience in a closed minivan as they explore more of the reserve. The journey back to Johannesburg begins in the mid-afternoon, with departure scheduled between 15:00-15:15. This portion of the itinerary includes breakfast at the lodge.
