Day 1 : Kapama Game Reserve

Arrive at Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Johannesburg OR Tambo. Our team will greet you at Eastgate for transfer to Kapama Game Reserve. Following a light meal and time to refresh, join a game drive deep in the reserve with your guide and tracker. Pause along the way for a drink and fresh air as the sun dips behind the Drakensberg Mountains. As twilight falls, nocturnal creatures of the bush come alive. Spot diverse species on the night return to the lodge, with the expert tracker using a flashlight to highlight animal eyes. Arrive at the lodge around 19:00 for a flavorful dinner. Day 2 : Kapama Safari

Begin your day between 5:00 and 05:30 with tea or coffee and rusks before heading out for a morning game drive. Wildlife in the reserve is more active in the cooler morning temperatures, and the gentle light creates ideal photography conditions. Return for a filling breakfast at the lodge, then unwind by the pool, read a book, or enjoy the lodge’s amenities. Following a delightful high tea, set out on an afternoon game drive that may extend past dusk. The day concludes with a savory dinner and conversations about the day’s wildlife sightings. Day 3 : Kapama Safari & Johannesburg

Start your final safari day with an early morning game drive, aiming for memorable wildlife encounters. Return for breakfast at the resort, then transfer to Eastgate Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. A private shuttle will collect you for your trip to Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Unwind before heading out on a late-afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, guided by a skilled ranger. Return to the lodge at sunset and savor a gourmet dinner at the restaurant. Day 4 : Pilanesberg National Park 

Depart early after hot drinks for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then spend the day relaxing by the pool or in your suite. Enjoy a light lunch and leisure time before heading out for a late-afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. Conclude your day with a flavorful dinner at the restaurant or outdoor boma on warm evenings. Includes: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 5 : Pilanesberg National Park 

Rise early for hot drinks, then head out for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Pilanesberg Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle. Return for a satisfying breakfast, pack up, and prepare for a mid-morning game drive in a closed tour vehicle. Depart mid-afternoon for Johannesburg, with drop-off at OR Tambo International Airport or your hotel by 6:00 PM. Includes: breakfast.
